 ICL - Icon Extractor did exactly what I wanted in to. In fact, I had my doubts on it\\\'s limitations and abilities, but it worked out great. (And by great I mean extracting over 100 icons from one ICL at once!) However, I did find one lack in it\'s features. There was no \'save all\' function. Thankz very much for this product.
 Icon Extractor I happened on Icon Extractor out of frustration with another icon program. The download allowed me to try it first, which was a pleasant experience. Although I would have like a manual in PDF, the program was intuitive enough to figure out, and I no longer need a manual. I purchased the software and accomplished all that I needed to. I recommend this program; coming from me, that is a strong endorsement!
 Good, but not exciting... I found it reasonably easy to use (though some of the demo version limitations made it hard to assess.)The feature I'd most like to see is a 'save as dll' option for creating dll based icon libraries.Other than that, not bad.My main goal is to gather and sort many of the icons available on my machine so I can find them easily.It helps in the gathering, but the sorting is still far from great.(Oh, and it'd be nice if the icon lists were sortable in some way.)

probably the best icon extractor! the interface is friendly; it's very easy to use; has all the basic features expected; you don't need to read any help to work out how to use it; it's also very quick at scanning files and pulling out the icons for copying or saving to another file format.i'm not sure if i would pay for it as i don't need it very often.

TELLING ABOUT THE ICON PACKAGER I like to use the icon package to the system. Because the system look like a richer to see that way I ask the icon package.
 review and disappointment Either the download was incomplete or else was not working properly, after three attempts I gave up trying to use it and deleted it. Underwhelmed is a good description.
An Excellent Program This is a great program. It is really easy to use and not too expensive. I just wish it was free.

ICONStudio 5.0 The program didn't satisfy my need for advanced graphics. The number of pixels wasn't adequate for my needs. I found the drawing tools to be ok, but couldn't even draw a straight line. I had to use the "rectangle" tool and only make one pixel high. Fairly intuitive to use except for undoing more than one thing. I had to always start over if I made a mistake.I would have used this program to create concepts for our user interface designs. The program completely wasn't up to that task.It didn't solve my task.

It`s Ok I would recommend stardock's Icon packager
Icon changes Dependent on Program. It is really a great program, really nice job! however, all icons changed were dependent on the program, i.e if there was ever instability in the program, all icon changes would be effected. I choose to uninstall the program and make all icon changes individually/manually.Thanks!

It would not create an .ico file from my .png file.
Ottimo!! Very good.
 The program has a lot of function but it can't create High def icons that are popular these days, hence it seems out dated. Sorry to say but it didn't prove to be of any use to me, but thank you anyway for the effort and keep up the good work.

Nice thing! I've tried this soft and it is very nice! Thank you.
 Ready for Vista, but not Vistable Any To Icon Pro is still fine, but the default options needs to be upgraded for Vista's 128x128 and 256x256 pixels icon dimensions. Also, I was not able to purchase Any To Icon via the program's internal Internet browser, so it's settings must be wrong - at least so both my bank and PayPal said. The next version should also offer option to batch convert (from image to icon) via Windows' menu context only - without any GUI window.
It's amazing. The ease of use in any2icon pro is amazing. Before I had bad exprernces with icon software but any2icon makes it soo easy to convert my photoshop logos to icons witch is now used on my apps. Thanks so much.
psd to ico "psd to ico" has an error that leaves a white border in circular images with background tranparent.
